Can't open Authenticator Due To New Phone Number

I'm stuck in limbo. I changed phone numbers and don't have access to my old number. Whenever I try to log into my Authenticator, it sends a code to my old number that I don't have access to. Also, whenever I try to use the actual password to the email I use Authenticator with, it also sends a code to the old Authenticator, that again, I do not have access to. Weirdly too, whenever I try to use the password option with my email instead, it rejects it, even though it's literally the correct password that I've tested on my PC and confirm that it works. I've looked all around, chat refuses to help, calling refuses to help and I'm about to quit Microsoft outright because this is absolutely RIDICULOUS that no one can help me fix this. It's always a runaround.

I need ACTUAL help, not the help that doesn't do anything but keep running me around. Thanks.

    1-Use the Account Recovery Form

    • Go to https://account.live.com/acsr.
    • Enter the email address you’re locked out of.
    • Provide an alternate email where Microsoft can contact you.
    • Fill in as much detail as possible (recent subject lines, folder names, contacts, billing info if applicable). The more accurate, the better.

2-Remove Authenticator requirement (if you still have PC access)

    • If you’re logged in on your PC, go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info (mysignins.microsoft.com in Bing).
    • Add a new phone number or email.
    • Set it as your default sign-in method.
    • Remove the old number/Authenticator. If nothing works
    • Use the Microsoft support escalation path:
      • Go to https://support.microsoft.com.
      • Select Contact Support → Account & Billing → Password reset / Two-step verification.
      • Request a manual identity verification. This is different from the automated chat — it routes you to a human who can review your recovery form.
