    Dear @Ofelia Mercado

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that you recently started using a new laptop and are unable to access Microsoft Publisher as you did before. You use Publisher for preparing your instructional materials and are seeking guidance on how to download or use it again.

To understand the situation better and provide you with the most suitable support, could you confirm the following information:

    • I could see that your question is in the "For education" forum, but to better support you, may I reconfirm: Are you using a personal account (e.g. @outlook.com, @hotmail.com) or a work/school account (e.g. @company.com, @edu)?
    • Is this new device a personal laptop or one provided by your school or organization?
    • Publisher is a Windows‑only application, may I ask if your new laptop is also Windows?
    • On your previous laptop, how were you using Publisher: Was it installed as part of Microsoft Office, or provided through your school’s account?
    • Do you recall signing in with a work or school email address to use Publisher before?
    • Could you check your account's subscription/licenses to check if Publisher is included: Log in to your account that you use for Publisher via this link: https://portal.office.com/account/?ref=Harmony#subscriptions
    • Is your Microsoft 365 account administered by your school, including control over which apps are available?

Your confirmation would be very helpful in ensuring you receive the most suitable support!

Once I have more information on your account type and device details, they will help me support you more effectively. Please feel free to share the information when you’re ready, and I’ll gladly assist further.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing how things are going!

Thank you for your time and patience.

To download Microsoft Publisher on your new laptop, you will need to have a subscription to Microsoft 365 that includes Publisher. Once you have that, follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account: Go to the Microsoft account services page and log in with the account associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription.
    2. Find Publisher: Look for the option to install Office applications. Publisher should be included in the list of applications available for installation.
    3. Download and Install: Click on the install button next to Publisher, and follow the prompts to download and install it on your laptop.

If you encounter any issues, make sure your laptop meets the system requirements for Microsoft Publisher and that your subscription is active.
