Hello Microsoft, ever since I had updated my laptop to 24h2 I've been expriencing these BSOD. I had suspected its ram related but I have ran windows memory diagonstic and memtest86 both on the same ram stick (I use a single stick of ddr4 sodimm ram) but the test passed. I'm confused on this matter, any help is appreciated.

Your minidump files just indicate generic memory (RAM) corruption no specific cause of the crashes is listed

To try to force Windows to show any faulting drivers, the best option would be to turn on Driver Verifier, let your PC crash 3 times, then you must turn off Driver Verifier, and finally, upload any newly created minidump files

Before you run Driver Verifier, please create a new System Restore Point

Note, if you have any difficulty getting into Windows with Driver Verifier enabled:

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

Upon restart, press 4 to enter Safe Mode

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run these two commands, then restart your PC.

    verifier /reset

    verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

Experiencing random BSODs (Blue Screen of Death) after updating to Windows 11 version 24H2 can be frustrating. Since you've already run memory diagnostics and confirmed that your RAM is functioning correctly, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can consider:

    1. Update Drivers: Ensure that all your device drivers are up to date, especially the graphics and chipset drivers. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause instability after a major OS update.
    2. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your system is fully updated. Sometimes, subsequent updates are released to address issues introduced in earlier updates.
    3. Review Event Viewer: Check the Event Viewer for any critical errors that occurred around the time of the BSOD. This can provide clues about what might be causing the crashes.
    4. Uninstall Recent Software: If you installed any new software around the time of the update, consider uninstalling it to see if it resolves the issue.
    5. Run Hardware Diagnostics: Use any built-in hardware diagnostics tools provided by your laptop manufacturer to check for hardware issues beyond just the RAM.
    6. System Restore: If the problem persists, you might consider performing a system restore to a point before the update, if available.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to analyze the minidump file for more specific information regarding the cause of the BSOD. This can often point to a specific driver or hardware issue.
