Is this a subscription version of Office, for example Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family? To cancel your subscription, turn off recurring billing, if it is enabled in your account, and then you should be able to cancel. To cancel your Microsoft 365 subscription, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    2. On the subscription details page, in the Subscription and payment settings section, select Cancel subscription.
    3. In the Options for canceling your subscription pane, select either Cancel now or Cancel before the next renewal date, then select Next.
    4. Choose a reason for canceling, provide optional feedback, and then select Cancel now.
    5. Repeat the steps for any other active subscriptions you wish to cancel.

After cancellation, your subscription status will show as Disabled, and you will have reduced functionality until it is deleted. Make sure to save any important data before canceling, as access to your data will be lost after cancellation.

If you are unable to access your account or need further assistance, you may want to contact Microsoft support directly for help.
