Cancel Microsoft 365 Business

I’ve tried numerous times to cancel the Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription. I want to stop being charged!

Is there someone else in your organization who is a local admin for the Office subscription? In that case, maybe that person can help.

• You mentioned that you don't have permission to cancel Subscription, could you please confirm that are you still able to access admin center link https://admin.microsoft.com or not? It would be helpful if you could provide screenshot of the message when it shows you don't have permission

I’ve tried but it says I don’t have permission!!

To cancel your Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
   • If you're using the Simplified view, select Subscriptions.
   • If you're using the Dashboard view, go to Billing > Your products.
2. Select the subscription that you want to cancel.
3. On the subscription details page, in the Subscription and payment settings section, select Cancel subscription.
4. In the Options for canceling your subscription pane, select Cancel now or Cancel before the next renewal date, then select Next.
5. Select a reason for why you’re canceling, provide optional feedback, then select Cancel now.
6. Repeat these steps to cancel all active subscriptions.

Make sure to save any important data before canceling, as users will lose access to their data once the cancellation is effective.
