Remove To Do List from sidebar but keep Calendar events

I just switched to the new outlook and I like having my calendar on the right side with all of my events showing but I hate how the "to do" list is integrated into it. I just want to see the calendar events - not the to do list. How do I fix this?

    Dear @Katie,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand you want to keep your calendar on the right side in the New Outlook, but you don’t want the To Do list that appears together with it. This can be frustrating when you want a clean calendar‑only view.

In the New Outlook for Windows, the panel on the right side is called My Day, and it is designed to always include both Calendar and To Do. At this time, Outlook does not provide any option to remove or hide the To Do list while keeping only the calendar events. This behavior is expected in the new design.

    Workarounds you can try:

    • You can switch the My Day view to show Calendar, but the To Do section will still be part of the same panel.
    • If you prefer a calendar‑only sidebar, you may use Classic Outlook, which still supports the older To‑Do Bar options with more customization.

Moreover, I want you to know that Microsoft deeply values customer experience and feedback. Every single comment matter, and the product teams actively review what customers share to guide decisions and improvements. I understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Currently, the new Outlook does not provide an option to completely remove the To Do list from the sidebar while keeping the Calendar events visible. The integration of the To Do list is a part of the new design, and Microsoft has not yet included a feature to separate these functionalities. You may want to provide feedback to Microsoft through the Feedback Hub (opened by using WIN+F) to express your preferences regarding this integration.
