I created a identity validation.

tried to verify the organization throuh invoice and receipt and whois information.

After three attempts it failed as expected.
I removed it, and the created a new one with hopes of being able to upload more documents, but now it fails directly after our CEO verifies his identity with the error below:

Hello, Thank you for providing additional documents to our team for account verification. Upon review, we identified that the documents do not match the information you entered for your account. ENTITY NAME IS MISMATCHED If it is not possible to provide additional documentation, please update your domain to match any legal documents already provided or your official Company registration details. Thank you, Vetting Operations Support

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Your account is failing immediately because earlier failed validation attempts have put it under strict revalidation. Deleting and recreating the validation does not reset this. The error “ENTITY NAME IS MISMATCHED” means the legal company name on your documents does not exactly match the organization name entered, the domain WHOIS, or the website branding, even for small differences like Pvt Ltd vs Private Limited or brand name vs legal name. CEO identity verification is passing; the entity cross-check is failing. The only reliable fix is to align everything to the exact legal entity name across documents, domain, and website, wait 48–72 hours, and retry once, or request a manual review if alignment is not possible.
