If you are on a mac, this is what you can.

Please use the instruction here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/how-to-remove-office-license-files-on-a-mac-b032c0f6-a431-4dad-83a9-6b727c03b193 Download and run the license removal tool to clear the cached business credential, this should then allow you to sign in using your personal Microsoft account.

    Hello,

Can you go to your Windows Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School (note, it is the briefcase icon, not the envelope icon). Then see if the organization email address is still listed? If so, click on it and then disconnect it.

As for auto-saving to OneDrive, do you have a Microsoft 365 subscription in your personal account? In your App like Words, Excel, can you check the upper right user icon, is it signed in using your personal account?

To remove the old school OneDrive account from your computer while keeping your personal account, you can unlink the old account from OneDrive. Here are the steps to do that:

    1. Unlink the Old Account:
      • Right-click on the OneDrive cloud icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of your screen).
      • Click on Settings.
      • Go to the Account tab.
      • Find the old school account and click on Unlink this PC.
      • Confirm the action.
    2. Sign in with Your Personal Account:
      • After unlinking, you can sign in again with your personal OneDrive account.
      • Right-click the OneDrive icon again, select Settings, and then go to the Account tab.
      • Click on Add an account and enter your personal account credentials.
    3. Check Auto-Save Settings in Word:
      • Open Word, go to File > Options > Save.
      • Ensure that the default save location is set to your personal OneDrive account.

By following these steps, you should be able to remove the old school account and ensure that your files are saved to your personal OneDrive account instead.
