If your card has previously worked on the Microsoft store but is now being declined, there are several potential reasons and steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Card Type: Some cards, like prepaid or virtual cards, may not be accepted for purchases in the Microsoft Marketplace. Ensure that your Vanilla Visa Gift card is supported.
    2. Verify Card Information: Make sure that the card details you are entering (card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address) match exactly what is printed on the card. Any discrepancies can lead to a decline.
    3. Contact Your Bank: Reach out to your bank or card issuer to ensure that there are no issues with the card, such as it being inactive, blocked, or having restrictions on international transactions.
    4. Sufficient Funds: Double-check that there are enough funds on the card to cover the purchase, including any taxes or fees that may apply.
    5. Update Payment Information: If your card information is outdated, you may need to update it on your Microsoft account's payment page.

If you continue to experience issues after checking these factors, consider using a different payment method or contacting Microsoft support for further assistance.
