At boot up it says activation code has expired

Would like to know if I can renew or obtain a new activation code for Windows 7

Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. Microsoft no longer issues new product keys or activation codes for Windows 7. It can't be renewed either.

Valid Windows 7 product keys can still activate the operating system on the original device, even though Microsoft ended official support and retail sales. Microsoft recommends upgrading to Windows 10 or Windows 11.
