I am being billed yearly for an account that I do not have. Since I don't have an account, your website doesn't show any active invoices. However, my bank called from its fraud division detecting a charge for the individual yearly invoice. Please help resolve.

To resolve billing issues related to an account that you believe you do not have, follow these steps:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you are experiencing unauthorized charges, it's crucial to reach out to Microsoft support directly for assistance. You can do this through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or by visiting the support page. They can help you investigate the charges and verify if there is an account associated with your information.
    2. Check for Account Information: Even if you believe you do not have an account, there may be an account linked to your email or payment information. Provide any details you have to support to help them locate the account.
    3. Fraud Alert: Since your bank's fraud division has contacted you, ensure that you inform them about the situation as well. They may have additional steps or protections to help you manage unauthorized charges.
    4. Monitor Your Accounts: Keep an eye on your bank statements and any other accounts for further unauthorized transactions.
    5. Documentation: Document all communications with Microsoft and your bank regarding this issue for your records.

By following these steps, you should be able to address the billing issue effectively.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this and to add to the above which is inclined on the business side, if there is no other subscription that is present on your account this means that the payment method or the card that you are using got caught somewhere from the last time that you have used it and this has caused an unauthorized charge and in this case it is best to reach out to the bank to block and replace your card to avoid additional or future unwanted charge/s.

It is also a good measure to temporarily lock it from the bank's website or the bank's mobile app to ensure that you will not have an unauthorized charge while this is still being figured out.

Kindly take note that the forum does not have access to user accounts to be able to check this billing side of things and you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there or you can also request a call back by going to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2168171 in case you are having trouble cancelling and getting a refund.
