    Hello Eddy Gaasbeek

The error you’re seeing (715‑999280) indicates that your tenant or account does not have the proper Windows 365 license assigned, so the portal cannot expose the “Windows 365” option. Adding Windows 365 to your account is not something you can do manually; it requires that your organization’s tenant administrator purchases and assigns a Windows 365 license (Business or Enterprise) through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Once the license is assigned to your user, the service will automatically appear in your account and you’ll be able to provision Cloud PCs.

If you are using a personal Microsoft account (like a Gmail sign‑in), you cannot directly add Windows 365. The service is tied to Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) tenants. You would need to either join an organization that has Windows 365 subscriptions or create a Microsoft 365 tenant yourself, purchase the Windows 365 licenses, and then assign them to your user. Without that, the portal will continue to throw the error you’re seeing.

In short, the sequence is: ensure you are signed in with a work or school account, confirm that your tenant has active Windows 365 licenses, and have your admin assign one to your user. There is no client‑side fix for this error; it is a licensing and tenant configuration issue.

I hope you've found something useful here. If it helps you get more insight into the issue, it's appreciated to accept the answer. Should you have more questions, feel free to leave a message. Have a nice day!

    Harry.

Thank you, Harry, it is appreciated.

I foolishly thought I could access a full-fledged Windows operating system online. But no, this module is so darn slow, it is practically useless.

In other words, we run an archive, and I would like Folio Views to be accessible to a specific audience, as it is on my PC.

I tried uploading a software file (526 MB); it took hours and still didn't complete.

So what other alternatives are there? Do you have any suggestions, please?

    Thank you.
    Eddy
