Hello Terry Maroun
On Windows 10 there is no longer a “free upgrade eligibility check” tool like the one Microsoft provided during the original Windows 10 rollout. The free upgrade offer officially ended in 2016, and the only supported path to Windows 11 now is through Windows Update or installation media, provided your hardware meets the requirements. If you go into Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select “Check for updates,” the system will automatically determine if your device is eligible for Windows 11. If it is, you’ll see the upgrade option appear. If you don’t see it, either your hardware does not meet the minimum requirements (TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, supported CPU) or your device is not yet targeted for the rollout.
Trying to use older eligibility tools or upgrade checkers will not work anymore, which is why you’re getting nowhere. The supported way is to rely on Windows Update or download the PC Health Check app from Microsoft to verify compatibility. If the app confirms your hardware meets requirements, you can manually upgrade using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from Microsoft’s official site.
I hope you've found something useful here. If it helps you get more insight into the issue, it's appreciated to accept the answer. Should you have more questions, feel free to leave a message. Have a nice day!
Harry.
