    Hello Terry Maroun

On Windows 10 there is no longer a “free upgrade eligibility check” tool like the one Microsoft provided during the original Windows 10 rollout. The free upgrade offer officially ended in 2016, and the only supported path to Windows 11 now is through Windows Update or installation media, provided your hardware meets the requirements. If you go into Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select “Check for updates,” the system will automatically determine if your device is eligible for Windows 11. If it is, you’ll see the upgrade option appear. If you don’t see it, either your hardware does not meet the minimum requirements (TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, supported CPU) or your device is not yet targeted for the rollout.

Trying to use older eligibility tools or upgrade checkers will not work anymore, which is why you’re getting nowhere. The supported way is to rely on Windows Update or download the PC Health Check app from Microsoft to verify compatibility. If the app confirms your hardware meets requirements, you can manually upgrade using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from Microsoft’s official site.

I hope you've found something useful here. If it helps you get more insight into the issue, it's appreciated to accept the answer. Should you have more questions, feel free to leave a message. Have a nice day!

    Harry.

To upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, follow these steps:

    1. Check Windows 11 System Requirements: Ensure your PC meets the minimum hardware requirements:
      • Processor: 1 GHz or faster, 2 or more cores, and on the list of supported 64-bit CPUs.
      • Memory: 4 GB or more.
      • Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device with additional free space (around 20 GB recommended).
      • System Firmware: UEFI firmware with Secure Boot capability.
      • TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 enabled.
      • Graphics: A graphics card compatible with DirectX 12 or later.
      • Internet and Accounts: Internet connectivity and a Microsoft account are required for Windows 11 Home edition.
      • Operating System: Your PC should be running Windows 10 version 2004 or later.
    2. Verify Compatibility with the PC Health Check App: Download and install the PC Health Check tool from Microsoft to confirm your PC's compatibility with Windows 11.
    3. Back Up Important Data: It's wise to back up your files before upgrading.
    4. Upgrade Methods:
      • Windows Update (Recommended): Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, check for updates, and look for the upgrade option.
      • Windows 11 Installation Assistant: Download the tool from Microsoft's website, run it, and follow the instructions.
      • ISO File / USB Installation: Download the Windows 11 ISO and create installation media.
    5. Troubleshooting: If the upgrade option is not showing, ensure your Windows 10 is fully updated and check Microsoft's Windows 11 release status page.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully upgrade to Windows 11.
