Sounds like accumulated dust and dirt. Open the case and carefully blow it out.

Listen closely to your PC, are the noises coming form inside your PC case or from the speakers?

If the noises are coming form inside the PC case, then most likely that is a hardware problem, if you are using a PC, not a laptop, turn off the PC and disconnect from the mains electricity, if you feel comfortable opening the case of your PC, open it and check the fans and any other moving parts that may be inside the case.

Odd whirring and honking noises from a computer can be caused by several factors, even if the system appears to be functioning normally. Here are a few potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can consider:

    1. Fan Issues: The whirring sound might be from the cooling fans. Dust accumulation can cause fans to operate loudly. Cleaning the fans and ensuring they are not obstructed can help.
    2. Hard Drive Noise: If you have a traditional hard drive (HDD), it may produce whirring or humming noises during operation. If the sound is unusual or accompanied by performance issues, it could indicate a failing drive.
    3. Power Supply Unit (PSU): The PSU can also produce odd noises if it is failing or if the fan is obstructed. Ensure that the PSU is clean and functioning properly.
    4. Loose Components: Sometimes, internal components can vibrate and create noise. Ensure that all components are securely fastened.
    5. Software Issues: Occasionally, software running in the background can cause hardware components to work harder than usual, leading to increased noise. Check for any resource-intensive applications running.

If the noises persist and are concerning, it may be best to consult with a professional technician to diagnose the issue accurately.

I definitely have plugged in the fan just to trick if it is an overheat issue, it wasn't, I did the hand taste and I can confirm the sound was coming from the sides or below the keyboard, not from anywhere on the computer itself.
