Can't login to my personal Azure account

Hi all,

I'm having issues logging on to my Azure account. Logging on to my Microsoft account works just fine, but as soon as I go to Azure I keep getting the request to enter a (6-digit) verification code.

I only get an 8-digit code from the Microsoft Authenticator app.

What I've tried so far:

  1. Remove, and re-add the account in the Authenticator app;
    1. as a Personal account; -> not getting a 6-digit code
    2. as an other account; -> getting a 6-digit code but one that doesn't work;
  2. Adding different authentication methods; -> unable to chose anything else but a verification code or Authenticator App request (which also doesn't work)

It is my personal account so therefore I am the admin, there is no one else to help out.

Does anyone have any ideas?

    Hello Luuk Damkot,

    The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to login and make changes in your tenant.

    To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.
