    Hi!

Let me help you with this issue.

Have you tried a hard reset?

    Shut down the laptop completely

Click Start → Power → Shut down

Make sure it’s fully off (no lights, no fan)

    Unplug everything

    Remove the charger

Disconnect USB devices, mouse, keyboard, headset, HDMI, etc.

    Drain residual power

Press and hold the Power button for 20–30 seconds

    Don’t release it early

    Reconnect power

Plug only the charger back in (nothing else)

    Turn the laptop on

    Press the Power button normally.

If you're experiencing no sound on your laptop, here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Update Audio Drivers: Go to Device Manager, find your audio device (likely labeled as "Realtek" or "Intel SST"), right-click it, and select "Update driver" to search automatically for updates. Alternatively, you can download the latest drivers directly from the LG Support site.
    2. Set Correct Playback Device: Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar, open Sound settings, and ensure your laptop speakers are selected as the output device.
    3. Run Windows Troubleshooter: Navigate to Settings > System > Sound and click on "Troubleshoot" under the Output section to help identify and fix the problem.
    4. Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, audio issues can be resolved with cumulative updates. Make sure your system is up to date.
    5. BIOS/Firmware Check: Ensure your BIOS is up to date, as audio initialization can sometimes depend on firmware.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be a hardware problem, and you should consider contacting LG support for further diagnostics.
