I am having ann issue on my iPad Pro which only started happening after updating my to 26.2 within the last 30 days. I have restarted my iPad, uninstalled and reinstalled the Word, contacted Apple Support, but nothing works.
I can only double-click to select one word, or right click to select all text in the document. I cannot click and drag my cursor to select only the text that I want to copy.
I am signed into my Microsoft 365 account and the documents are not protected or in read-only. The issue is occurring across all .docx files I am trying to edit on my iPad. It is incredibly frustrating and is leaving me widely unable to use the program that I am paying monthly for.

It worked after the initial OS update, but is not working since the last patch. I tried with all three options of window display and multitasking.
