To better understand the issue, could you please confirm whether you’re using Windows 10 or Windows 11, and whether the connection is Wi-Fi or Ethernet? Also, can other computers see this PC, or is it not visible both ways? In the meantime, please try the following steps:
Open Control Panel
- Go to Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center
On the left, click Change advanced sharing settings
Under Private network:
- Turn on Network discovery
- If it still doesn't work, try uncheck the box Set up network connected devices automatically
Under Public network:
- Temporarily turn on Network discovery for testing purposes only
- If this resolves the issue, switch it back off afterward, as Public networks are intended to keep your PC hidden for security
