No Response Required Button in Meeting Invite

I am not able to see the No Response Required button in new outlook

I have the same issue. Looking at the exact same meeting update notification, Classic Outlook still gives the No Response Required button so that it will update my invite and delete the notification (same way it auto-deletes when I accept an invite). New Outlook, however, only gives me these weird options to schedule a next meeting or reply. Completely useless. Is there a new location or option for accepting the change (ie. No Response Required button) or is this yet another case where Microsoft has made the baffling decision to remove functionality?

My IT also just upgraded my Microsoft 365 suite last week so I am completely confident that an outdated version is not the cause.

I just tried everything I could think of to get New Outlook for Windows to not auto process a meeting update that Classic Outlook would show as "No Response Required". e.g. Update to the invite body. In every case the update was applied to the Calendar event and nothing showed up in the attendee's Inbox.

How did you get the update to an attendee to be visible?

@Hornblower409 I have no idea :| I haven't actually tested this much like I typically would because frankly I'm just tired of dealing with the sheer number of similar things that don't make sense to me.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the type of update. This morning I got an update to a meeting that had changed the day and time and it did ask me to Accept it again. The invite I previously screenshot, was simply an update to the description I believe. Other times, I've gotten updates where it didn't ask me to Accept again, but it also didn't give me a way to acknowledge the response so I ultimately just deleted it so the stupid thread would stop showing up in my inbox.

Might also be something on the host's options? Sorry I don't have an actual answer for you.

Hello,

This button only shows on Microsoft 365 accounts using the latest Outlook version. It won’t appear on older clients, browser-only invites, or non-Microsoft accounts. Make sure your Outlook is updated and you’re signed in with a Microsoft 365 account.

Hi, I am using my acocunt and I can see the button in the classic outlook, but when i toggle to new outlook, the button not shown anymore
