I have all necessary documentation. But seem to get caught in some endless loop the ends without accomplishing anything. I have followed all of the "Next of Kin" instructions that just dead ends. this is beyond frustrating in an already stressful situation

To speak with a live representative regarding access to your son's live.com account, you can follow these steps:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: Go to the Microsoft Support website and look for options related to account recovery or customer service. You can type "Get Help" in the search bar and follow the prompts to chat with an agent or request a callback.
    2. Provide Documentation: Since you are the administrator of your son's estate, ensure you have all necessary documentation ready to verify your identity and your relationship to the deceased. This will help in expediting the process.
    3. Follow the Next of Kin Instructions: If you have already followed the Next of Kin instructions but are encountering issues, it may be beneficial to reach out directly to support for further assistance. You can explain your situation and the documentation you possess to help them understand your needs better.
    4. Use Different Browsers or Networks: If you're facing technical issues while trying to contact support, consider using a different browser or network to see if that resolves the problem.

If you continue to experience difficulties, it may be helpful to persistently reach out to support until you can connect with a representative who can assist you.

    Hello,

I am so sorry for your loss.

Is this the instruction you follow? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/accessing-outlook-com-onedrive-and-other-microsoft-services-when-someone-has-died-ebbd2860-917e-4b39-9913-212362da6b2f

Basically Microsoft needs to be served a valid subpoena or court order in order to release the account information legally.

I am not sure where you reside, but Microsoft's registered agent is who you need to serve, unless otherwise stated in that document above. To look it up, if you are in the US for example, you can reach out to the Secretary of State office in the state you reside in.
