I recently bought a HP 15.6 windows 11 s mode computer and I am unable to switch out of s mode. Every time I go to settings at open “get out s mode” in the microsoft store it says “try again something happened and we couldn’t start the upgrade”

    Hi,

I’ve seen quite a few reports about this issue over the past few days. First, make sure your Windows installation is fully up to date and that all system component apps are updated in the Microsoft Store. Also, check that you’re not using a VPN. If the problem still persists, it may be caused by high server traffic, so trying again during non-peak hours could help.

If you're having trouble switching out of S mode on your Windows 11 device, there are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet, as the switch requires a stable connection.
    2. Windows Update: Make sure your Windows is fully updated. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
    3. Microsoft Store Troubleshooting: Sometimes, issues with the Microsoft Store can cause problems. You can try resetting the Microsoft Store cache. To do this, press Windows + R, type wsreset.exe, and hit Enter. This will reset the Store without changing your account settings.
    4. Try Again Later: Sometimes, the Microsoft Store may be experiencing temporary issues. Waiting a little while and trying again can sometimes resolve the problem.
    5. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Remember, once you switch out of S mode, you cannot revert back to it. Make sure you want to proceed with this change before attempting again.
