Unless you are an advanced user I would not recommend that you follow the Q&A Assist Answer to use MFCMAPI. It is a very powerful tool and if you slip you can trash your entire email account.I will try to help you get back your Sent Items folder if I can.
Please see this Microsoft Support article and reply with what platform (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS) and version of Outlook you are using.
