How to restore desktop icon in quick access?

It went missing in some recent update, also when I try to direct a browser to download to desktop I cannot because the shortcut is gone.

    Right click the Start Menu icon > Terminal (Admin)
    Paste the command below and press enter:

    [Environment]::GetFolderPath("Desktop")

    It will return the Desktop folder location, go to the folder the Desktop folder is located, right-click the Desktop folder and select "Pin to Quick Access"

    To pin Desktop show on Quick Access again, open the File Explorer > C: > Users > (Your username) > Right click "Desktop" > Pin to Quick Access.

    If this folder doesn't match your current Desktop, you have the Desktop folder on OneDrive. Open OneDrive, right click Desktop folder > Pin to Quick Access.
