If you can locate the account that was used (@hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @gmail.com), you can sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services , turn off recurring billing and then cancel. To request a refund for an unintended transaction, you will need to follow specific steps depending on the type of purchase you made. Here are some general guidelines:

    1. For Microsoft Services: If your transaction is related to a Microsoft service, it is best to contact Microsoft support directly. You can do this by visiting the Microsoft support page, signing in to your account, selecting the product you need help with, and following the prompts to contact support.
    2. For Microsoft Marketplace Purchases: If you made a purchase through the Microsoft Marketplace, you may be eligible for a refund depending on the type of offer. For Software as a Service (SaaS) offers, you can receive a full refund if you cancel within 72 hours of purchase. For refunds after 72 hours, you will need to contact the partner who published the offer.
    3. For Credit Card Purchases in Partner Center: If you are a partner and made a purchase via credit card, you can cancel eligible orders directly from the Memberships workspace in Partner Center. If eligible, you will see a "Cancel order" button next to your offer.

Make sure to check the specific refund policies related to your purchase type for more detailed instructions.
