Hi PRAKHAR ,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.
I am sorry to hear that your Microsoft account is experiencing a security incident involving unauthorized access. Below are the fastest and most effective steps to help you recover your account and protect your data:
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.
If you are still signed in on any device
Please act immediately using a trusted and secure device:
- Change your password right away using the Microsoft password reset page.
- Sign out of your account on all devices by going to Security > Advanced security options > Sign out everywhere.
- Please note that this action may take up to 24 hours to fully apply.
- Review your Recent activity and mark any unfamiliar sign-ins as “This wasn’t me” to help block unauthorized access.
If you are completely locked out
(Your recovery email address and phone number were changed)
In this situation, the only supported option is to submit the Microsoft Account Recovery Form:
- Complete the form with as much accurate information as possible, such as previous passwords, recent email subject lines, folder names, or Microsoft services previously used (for example, OneDrive, Outlook, Xbox, or Skype).
- Microsoft will review your submission and respond within 24 hours. You may submit the form up to two times per day.
- For the best chance of successful verification, please submit the form from a device and network you have used before, such as your personal computer at home.
Important notice: If two-step verification was enabled on the account (either previously by you or later by the attacker) and you no longer have access to any verification method, the account cannot be recovered. If recovery attempts continue to fail, this usually means the account is considered unrecoverable. In that case, creating a new Microsoft account may be the only viable solution.
