Copilot-App on iPadOS vs macOS - conversations are not in sync

Dear community,
I am using the latest Copilot-app on iPadOS and the Copilot-app on macOS with the same credentials/login/account.
Unfortunately the conversations on both apps are not synced. Conversations I have started with Copilot on iPadOS are not available on Copilot@macOS.
Is this behavior as expected? Or is there an configuration issue with my devices or account?
Any hints appreciated ; )
