    Hello @Jerry Miller,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum, and thank you for reaching out to us.

Based on the information you shared, it appears that you are seeing a warning related to your Power BI Pro subscription. This may occur when the trial period has expired or when the current subscription is no longer active.

To verify the status of your subscription, please follow the steps below to check whether the trial license has expired

    If you are an administrator:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
    2. Navigate to Billing > Your products.
    3. Locate the Power BI Pro subscription.
    4. Check the status, including expiration date or trial end date as the sample below:

If you are not an administrator, please contact your Global Administrator or Billing Administrator to confirm the subscription status.  If you are unsure who your Global Administrator is, you may refer to this guide:  How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

If the subscription is near the end of the expiration date, please purchase a new paid subscription to avoid any interruption to your workflow.  Here are the steps:

    1. Locate to Purchase services or Marketplace.
    2. In the search bar, type Power BI Pro.
    3. Select the Power BI Pro plan from the list of available products.
    4. Choose the number of licenses you need.
    5. Select Buy now and follow the checkout steps to complete the purchase.
    6. After the purchase is completed, assign the license to the appropriate user by navigating to:  Users > Active users > Select user > Licenses and apps

If you have any further concerns or need additional assistance with the subscription or license assignment, please feel free to let me know. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

how is this done If the workspace is in trial capacity, you may need to upgrade it to a paid capacity to continue using it without interruptions.

If your Power BI Pro license is active but you are seeing a message about a trial expiring, it could be due to a few reasons:

    1. Trial vs. Paid License: Ensure that you are not trying to access features that are only available in a trial version. If your workspace is set to a trial capacity, it will expire regardless of your Pro license status.
    2. Workspace Capacity: If your workspace is in a Premium Per User (PPU) capacity, all participants need to have PPU licenses. A Pro license alone does not grant access to PPU-only features, which might lead to upgrade prompts.
    3. Admin Settings: Your organization may have disabled certain features or trials, which can affect your access.

To resolve this, check your workspace settings and confirm that it is assigned to the correct capacity. If the workspace is in trial capacity, you may need to upgrade it to a paid capacity to continue using it without interruptions.
