If personal Microsoft account:

I suggest resetting the password, choosing the "I don't have any of these" option, and continuing with the form.

To reset your password, please follow these steps:

• Go to the Microsoft account recovery page: https://account.live.com/password/reset
• Select "I forgot my password", then click Next.
• Enter the email address or phone number linked to your Microsoft account and follow the on-screen instructions.
• If you don’t have access to any of the recovery options listed, click on “I don’t have any of these” and fill out the form as accurately as possible. Microsoft uses that information to verify your identity.

If you have forgotten your password for Microsoft 365, Intune, or Azure, you can reset it using the following options:

1. If you don't have administrator privileges:
   • Ask your administrator to reset your password.
   • If your administrator has allowed you to reset your own password, use the Self-Service Password Reset wizard.
     • For a work or school account, go to passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
     • For a Microsoft account, go to Reset Password.
2. If you have administrator privileges:
   • Reset your own password if you have set up an alternative email address and a mobile phone number.
   • Request another administrator to reset your password.
   • If you have forgotten the password for your company's administrator account in Azure or Intune, refer to the Quickstart: Self-service password reset.
