How to find a recording download with Microsoft Teams 365 from my personal account

Do you have Microsoft 365 personal/family/premium plan? If you don't, recording feature is not available to you if you are on a personal Microsoft account.

If you do, did you initiate the recording at the meeting? If so, once the meeting ended, give it a bit time to curate the recording. Depends on how long the meeting is, it can take a bit time. When it is ready, you should find it in the meeting chat record to download it to your OneDrive or local computer. Then you can share it with others.

To find a Microsoft Teams recording from your personal account, you can follow these guidelines based on the type of meeting you participated in:

1. Meetings and Events:
   • The recording is saved to the organizer's OneDrive in a folder named Recordings. You can access this by logging into your OneDrive account and navigating to the Recordings folder under My files.
2. 1:1 and Group Calls:
   • If you recorded a 1:1 or group call, the recording will be stored in the OneDrive account of the user who initiated the recording. Check the Recordings folder in their OneDrive.
3. Channel Meetings:
   • For meetings held in a channel, the recording is saved in the SharePoint site associated with that channel. You can find it in the Documents library under a folder named Recordings. To access it, go to the Teams channel, select Files, and then navigate to Recordings.
4. Meetings Scheduled with a Shared Mailbox:
   • If the meeting was scheduled using a shared mailbox, the recording will typically be uploaded to the OneDrive of the co-organizer or the recording initiator, as shared mailboxes usually do not have their own OneDrive.
