How can I get support for Microsoft business account when I don't have the sign in info?

My computer has gone into bit locker recovery mode and to get the key, I have to sign into my Microsoft account that that laptop is registered too. I have been using Microsoft Office 365 since June of 2023 and paying monthly. Apparently, I never wrote down the .onmicrosoft.com username and I have never needed it. All my receipts and invoices come to my work gmail account. I can find no one to help me! The only chat I can start is for home use but, it's a business account. They keep sending me to places to create a service ticket but all of those require you to sign in to your account which I can't do. The last person to chat with me called me and says she has put me on hold with the commercial support side but I have been holding for 3 1/2 hours, even though she said it would be 5-10 minutes. Is there anyway to get help from Microsoft from a live person at all? My entire business is shut down until I get this resolved. Please help with any advice!

To get support for your Microsoft business account when you don't have the sign-in information, you can try the following steps:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: If you are unable to sign in, you can contact Microsoft support directly. You can find the appropriate support phone number for your region at Get support - Microsoft 365 admin. When you call, explain your situation clearly and ask for assistance with your account recovery.
    2. Use a Different Account: If you have access to another Microsoft account, you can use it to contact support. Sign in with that account and navigate to the support section to create a service request.
    3. Trial Microsoft 365 Tenant: As a workaround, you can create a trial Microsoft 365 tenant. This will allow you to sign in to the Admin Center and raise a support ticket directly from there. Make sure to cancel the trial once your issue is resolved to avoid any charges.
    4. Data Protection Team: If you are the sole global admin of your account, you may need to contact the Azure Data Protection team for assistance. They can help you regain access to your account.
    5. Recovery Form: If you are unable to resolve the issue through the above methods, you may need to complete the account recovery form to verify your identity and regain access to your account.

These steps should help you get the support you need to resolve your issue and regain access to your business account.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

I understand how frustrating this situation must be.

One practical option that does work is to create a temporary Microsoft 365 Business trial account (using any email you currently control). Once signed in to that trial admin account, you can open a Business support ticket and request a callback or live chat.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
