Add Entra ID account in Authenticator App

Question

Hello, I have changed my mobile phone and I have added under the Authenticator app phone and ms account. However when I am trying to add the Entra ID, even though it is available under the add ‘+’ button in the app and the process seems to flow. It is not appearing on my account list in the app. Can you please help me!

As discussed offline, In Microsoft Authenticator, Microsoft Entra ID does not produce its own account tile. No new account appears on the main page when you add Entra ID because it adds sign-in methods (Passkey, MFA, Passwordless) to your current work account (PII@microsoft.com).

The "Account added" screen verifies that the setup was successful. The same Microsoft work account entry will be used for your Entra ID MFA.
