I previously had 1 terabyte of storage and then it suddenly changes to 5 gigabytes, why did this change? And how can I restore my previous access?

    Hello,

If you had 1TB, it means you were on some Microsoft 365 plan. Are you aware of that? If you go to your Microsoft account https://account.live.com > Services, do you see any plan there? What's the status, is it still active?

If your OneDrive storage changed from 1 TB to 5 GB, it could be due to a change in your subscription plan or the license assigned to your account. For example, if your account was downgraded to a plan that only allows 5 GB of storage, this would explain the reduction. Additionally, if you have recently changed your license or if there was an issue with your account, this could also affect your storage capacity.

To restore your previous access to 1 TB of storage, you will need to ensure that you are on a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription that provides at least 1 TB of OneDrive storage. If your organization has a qualifying plan, you may need to contact your administrator to verify your license and make any necessary adjustments.

If you are an administrator, you can also check the storage settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center to confirm the storage limits assigned to your users.
