I am 80 years old. I use a commuter owned by a QCWA division. A false Microsoft Family Safety profile was created by a previous president. The date of birth entered on the Profile makes me appear to be a 6 year old child who needs to "ask a parent" to access most programs. I want to edit the Profile but all I can change is the user name. How do I get around this? The whole computer is useless to me now. I have lost access to Microsoft 365 because I have to ask a parent to sign in to pay the account and I am "the parent" and only user of the account. I have online learning programs to complete but need to "ask a parent" to access them. Help please. All I wish to do is correct a birthdate mistake and I can find no way to do it.

To change the date of birth on your Microsoft Family Safety profile, you typically need to access the Microsoft account settings. However, if the profile was created incorrectly and is restricting your access, you may need to take the following steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account: Go to the Microsoft account sign-in page and log in with your credentials.
    2. Access Family Safety settings: Navigate to the Family Safety section of your account. You may find this under the 'Your family' or 'Family Safety' options.
    3. Edit profile information: Look for options to edit your profile or the profiles of family members. If you only see the option to change the username, it may be that the date of birth cannot be changed directly from here.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If you are unable to change the date of birth yourself, you may need to contact Microsoft Support for assistance. Explain your situation, and they may be able to help you correct the date of birth on your profile.

Since the system is treating you as a minor due to the incorrect date of birth, resolving this issue with support is crucial to regain full access to your account and services.
