Hi Tami Celano,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
For some Windows 11 cumulative (quality) updates, such as KB5066835, the Uninstall button does not appear in Settings. If your QuickBooks started failing after this update, please try these possible steps:
1 - Uninstall the latest quality update from Recovery
- Go to Start > Settings > System > Recovery
- Select Restart now under Advanced startup
- Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Uninstall Updates
- Select Uninstall latest quality update and sign in if prompted
2 - Pause updates temporarily (optional)
- After restarting, go to Settings > Windows Update > Pause updates to prevent the update from reinstalling while you continue troubleshooting.
If issues continue, please consider using Windows Update option, which reinstalls system components while keeping your apps and data intact.
- Select Start > Settings > System > Recovery
- Under Fix problems using Windows Update, select Reinstall now
- Confirm the prompt (you can choose whether Windows restarts automatically)
- Windows will download a repair version of the current update and reinstall system components
- Restart the PC if prompted
