    Dear @Barbra Sinnesael,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. Please understand that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to cover your organization domain name in the description. Please notice to hide these personal or organization information next time you post error or some information to protect personal data.

Based on your description, you lost Microsoft Office Professional Plus after a computer update and can’t find the original download link or product key. your work email is not recognized for reinstallation, but you have the original receipt and confirmation number and can provide them if needed.

If a Windows update removed Word and Excel, only IT team/global admin can legally reinstall or reactivate Office Professional Plus or provide an approved replacement (such as Microsoft 365 Apps).

Since you have the original receipt, confirmation number, and product key, the correct next step is to share this information with your organization’s IT/admin team so they can assist with re‑deployment or advise on the current licensing option.

In case you are a global admin, I recommend you contact Microsoft Support team directly and provide the original receipt, confirmation number, and product key so Microsoft can validate the license and assist with reinstallation or activation. You can follow these steps as the link: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.

Or use this link to find the appropriate contact number: Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

Note: Please understand that as forum moderator, my primary goal is to provide helpful guidance and support through general troubleshooting steps. While I don’t have access to internal systems or test devices required to resolve backend issues, I truly appreciate your understanding of these limitations. I genuinely hope the information I share helps guide you in the right direction, and I'm always here to assist as much as I can within my scope.

I hope your issue can be resolve ASAP, if you have any other questions, please feel free to each out.

Microsoft Office Professional Plus is a volume license, not legal for individual use. Unless it was provided for you by an employer or school, you were scammed when you purchased it.
