    Hi @Sönke Doll ,

    If you are locked out of your account, you can try to reset your password and MFA using the recovery options or going to aka.ms/mfasetup.

    If after trying these options you are still locked out, the best thing to do would be to have another global admin reset your settings to let you back in. If you don't have your phone number anymore and need to sign in with a different method, you can have the global IT admin of your organization tenant disable the MFA or set up a different method for you.

    Otherwise, if you are the only global admin on the account, you will need to reach out to the Azure Data Protection team and they can let you back in. This is the phone number for the Azure Data Protection team: 866-807-5850
