I just received an email to say that my subscription is increasing from £59.99 to £84.99. This is a considerable increase and there is no explanation as to why this increase is taking place.

Last year, Microsoft announced they were increasing the price of a Microsoft 365 subscription by about 30% because they were adding new functionality like Copilot AI to the Microsoft 365 subscription.

If you do not need that extra functionality, if you choose to cancel your subscription on your Microsoft account online, on the next window, scroll down, you should see the hidden option to get the Microsoft 365 subscription for the original cheaper price.
