    Hi @James mossop

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing. Being blocked from access can certainly be frustrating, and I appreciate you reaching out for help.

Based on my review and additional research, the TenantAccessBlockedError is typically a tenant‑level restriction in Microsoft 365. This kind of block can prevent access to Outlook and other Microsoft 365 services and is often related to scenarios such as unpaid or expired subscriptions, security or suspicious‑activity detections, billing issues, or administrative policy restrictions applied at the tenant level.

To help point you in the right direction, could you please let me know whether you’re signing in as an end user or as an administrator for your organization? If you’re an end user, I’d kindly suggest reaching out to your company’s IT or Microsoft 365 admin. If you haven’t yet reached out, here’s a helpful guide to locate your Microsoft 365 administrator: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

Since this is a tenant‑wide setting, end users don’t have the permissions needed to review or resolve it, and your admin would be the best person to check what’s happening on the tenant side.

If you are an administrator, it would be helpful to know whether you’re still able to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. If you can, reviewing the tenant’s billing status, subscription health, and any service notifications there is usually a good next step, as those areas often explain why access has been restricted.

If you have any updates or would like to clarify anything further, please feel free to leave a comment under this post. I’ll be happy to continue assisting if needed.

Thank you for your patience, and I look forward to your reply!

The error message TenantAccessBlockedError typically indicates that there is an issue with your account's access permissions, which could be due to various reasons, including potential security concerns or administrative settings. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Check for Account Security Issues: If you suspect that your account may have been hacked, it’s crucial to secure it immediately. Change your password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if you haven't already.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: Since this is a business account, you may need to reach out to Microsoft support directly. They can assist you in regaining access and resolving any security issues.
    3. Wait for Administrative Actions: If your account is managed by an organization, there may be administrative actions that need to be taken to resolve the access block. Contact your IT department or administrator for assistance.
    4. Review Account Recovery Options: If you have recovery options set up, such as alternate email addresses or phone numbers, use them to regain access to your account.
    5. Monitor for Unauthorized Activity: If you regain access, check your account activity for any unauthorized changes or suspicious behavior.

If the problem persists, it may take some time for Microsoft to resolve the issue, so be persistent in reaching out to their support team for help.
