If you have installed Microsoft 365 on your PC, click your Start Button, then just type Word, does Word appear in the resulting list and if so, are you able to open Word from there?

If not, if you are using a WIndows device, open the Settings App, go to Apps - Installed Apps, scroll down, do you find Microsoft 365 in the list of installed apps?

It sounds like you might be experiencing issues with the installation or activation of Microsoft 365 apps. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Check License Assignment: Since your husband has a Microsoft 365 Family subscription, ensure that your Microsoft account is properly linked to that subscription. You can verify this by signing into your Microsoft account and checking if the subscription is active.
    2. Install the Correct Version: Make sure that you have installed the correct version of Office that corresponds with your Windows version (32-bit or 64-bit). You can check which version you have installed and if it matches your system requirements.
    3. Repair Office Installation: If the applications are installed but not functioning correctly, you can try repairing the Office installation. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, select Microsoft 365, and then choose the option to repair.
    4. Uninstall and Reinstall: If repairing doesn't work, you may want to uninstall Microsoft 365 completely using the Microsoft 365 Uninstall troubleshooter. After uninstalling, restart your device and then reinstall Microsoft 365 from your Microsoft account.
    5. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date, as updates can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with Office applications.

If you continue to have issues after trying these steps, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
