I cannot log in to my microsoft 365 business standard account

I cannot log in to my account. This just started this week. When I enter my username/email and password, it tells me the password is incorrect. When I try to reset the password, it says I have not signed up for password reset. I am the admin (I am the only user). I have a Microsoft 365 Business Standard account. I can see that I was billed $157.50 on 10/14/2025, which should have extended my account to 2026. Since I cannot log in to any part of my account, I have been unable to use the regular chat support.

If you are unable to log in to your Microsoft 365 Business Standard account and are receiving an incorrect password message, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Verify Your User ID and Password: Ensure that you are entering the correct user ID (email) and password. The user ID typically looks like someone@example.com. If you are unsure of your user ID, you may need to contact Microsoft support or check with any documentation you have.
    2. Password Reset: Since you mentioned that the password reset option indicates you have not signed up for it, you may need to contact Microsoft support directly for assistance. As the only admin, you should be able to get help from the Azure Data Protection team. You can reach them at +1 866-807-5850.
    3. Account Activation: If your account isn't activated, you may need to sign in to the Office 365 portal for the first time using a temporary password (if applicable) and then create a new password.
    4. Account Blocked: If your Microsoft Logon account is blocked, wait 15 minutes and try logging in again. If the issue persists, you may need to reset your password to unblock your account.

Since you are the only user and admin, contacting Microsoft support directly will likely be your best option to resolve this issue quickly.
