Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

Are you trying to play audio via internal speakers, external speakers, or headphones?

If it is an external speaker or headphones, does it have a standard audio connector (Jack connector) or USB connector, or is it connected via Bluetooth?

Is there an X in the speaker icon next to the clock?

Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    I await your reply.

To fix your sound issue and locate the sound driver on your system, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open Device Manager: Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager".
    2. Check Sound Drivers: In Device Manager, expand the section labeled "Sound, video and game controllers". Look for your audio device (it might be labeled as "Realtek" or "Intel SST").
    3. Update Audio Drivers: Right-click on your audio device and select "Update driver". Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software".
    4. Install Drivers from Manufacturer: If you can't find the driver through Device Manager, visit your device manufacturer's website to download the latest audio drivers for your system model.
    5. Run Windows Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Sound and under "Output", run the troubleshooter to identify and fix issues.
    6. Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, audio issues can be resolved by installing the latest Windows updates.
    7. BIOS/Firmware Check: Ensure your BIOS is up to date, as audio initialization can sometimes depend on firmware.

If you still cannot find the sound driver or fix the issue, it may be a hardware problem, and you should consider contacting support for further assistance.
