If your iPhone is not recognized when connecting after installing iTunes:

Connect iPhone/iPad. Press the Windows and R keys on your keyboard to open the Run command. Enter: %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers > usbaapl64.inf and usbaapl.inf
Right-click on the files and select Install.
