I was checking the information on my computer, when I asked it for the location of my computer it showed and address in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. The address of where it is located should read in Goodyear, Arizona in the United States. I checked it a few times, updated my address to my current address, and it is still showing it in Ontario. What do I need to do to correct this? Is this something I should be concerned about? Thanks for the help.

Hello there! I'm glad to help you today!

This is nothing to worry about. This is a common ISP mapping error.

Your internet provider’s IP is being mapped to Ottawa instead of your real location in Goodyear, Arizona.

What you can try though, is power cycling your Modem (Turning off for 5 mins, and turn on again) to change your IP. If it still shows Canada, call your internet provider and ask them to correct your IP geolocation.

Just to be sure, please check if your location services is turned on.

    First, go to Settings

    -Privacy & Security

    -Location

Make sure Location services = ON

If you're using any VPN, please turn it off
