Setting up credit card information

Problem setting up card that works for other providers.

Confirmed with credit card vendor there are no issues with the card.

There was a prior block placed on it due to a XBOX subscription, I had the credit card vendor remove the block as this may be blocking Microsoft attempted charges.

The setup information is not permitted for my card and seems to be blocked by Microsoft(?)

Also, the address related to my card was 5 years out of date, not sure if this was the problem.

Regardless looking for assistance to reset this mess.

Thanks in advance.

To resolve the issues you're experiencing with setting up your credit card information for Microsoft services, consider the following steps:

    1. Update Your Card Information: Ensure that the address associated with your card is current and matches exactly what is on file with your bank. An outdated address can cause issues with processing payments.
    2. Check for Blocks: Since there was a prior block on your card due to an Xbox subscription, ensure that your card is fully active and that there are no restrictions placed by your bank or credit card issuer.
    3. Confirm Card Compatibility: Make sure that your card is accepted in your region for Microsoft services. Some cards, like prepaid or virtual cards, may not be accepted.
    4. Contact Support: If you continue to face issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance. They can help identify if there are any specific blocks on your account or card that need to be addressed.
    5. Resubmit Payment Information: After making the necessary updates, try resubmitting your payment information to see if the issue persists.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issues with your credit card setup for Microsoft services.
