Hi,

We applied for a a Microsoft for nonprofits grant in late 2025. We were originally approved then denied. We resubmitted an application this week and we have an approval after first speaking with goodstack directly and getting verified.

Now that we are officially approved, we are trying to log in and cannot. There is an error message populating even after following the instructions from the approval email. Please help with this, this is a time-sensitive request.

Thanks,

L Jamison

    Hello @Latasha Jamison,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out and for providing the initial details about your situation. Based on the information shared so far, it appears that the issue is occurring when you attempt to access your nonprofit account.

To clarify, there are certain limitations on our side when it comes to accessing or troubleshooting nonprofit-specific accounts and approvals. For this reason, support for nonprofit programs must be handled directly by the Microsoft Nonprofit Support team, as they are the correct channel with the necessary tools and permissions to investigate your case fully.

Additionally, I would strongly recommend reaching out directly to the Nonprofit Support team, as they are best equipped to review your eligibility status, account access, and any issues related to nonprofit enrollment. You may contact them using the official support channel provided here: Support and Troubleshooting - Microsoft for Nonprofits | Microsoft Learn

Please feel free to share the details above so I can point you in the right direction, and don’t hesitate to let me know if you need further clarification on anything.

If you are having trouble logging in after being approved for Microsoft for Nonprofits, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Confirm Your Account: Make sure you are signing in with the correct Microsoft account that is tied to your validated tenant. This account is usually in the format ******@companyname.onmicrosoft.com.
    2. Check for Admin Access: Only global admins can activate grants or update key profile data. If the global admin has left the organization, you may need to submit a support request to transfer admin access.
    3. Error Messages: If you receive a message such as "Not a Global Admin" or any other error, ensure that you are using the right account. If you are still facing issues, you may need to wait for up to 72 hours for any status updates regarding your application.
    4. Support Request: If the problem persists, consider submitting a support request through the Microsoft Nonprofit Contact Us page for further assistance.
    5. Password Reset: If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the instructions provided in the Microsoft support documentation.

These steps should help you troubleshoot the login issue you are experiencing.
