First of all, I LOVE RDMan, especially in light of Microsoft bailing from Microsoft Remote Desktop.

I do have a couple of suggestions for improvements to RDMan that hopefully can be fixed in a future release.

  1. It would be great if when I click on a remote PC in the left panel that it would pop-up a tool-tip showing the comment on the PC without having to right-click and select Properties.
  2. If you have a lot of large files on the clipboard, it has a tendency to cause RDMan to slow down significantly. Not sure why, but it would be great if this was fixed.

It seems you have some valuable suggestions for improving Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDMan). However, based on the current context, Microsoft is encouraging users to transition to the built-in Remote Desktop Connection or the Universal Remote Desktop client instead of RDMan. This is due to the fact that RDMan has not kept pace with the advancements in technology and security that Microsoft is focusing on.

    As for your specific suggestions:

    1. The idea of having a tooltip for comments when clicking on a remote PC is a useful enhancement that could improve usability.
    2. Regarding the performance issue with large files on the clipboard causing RDMan to slow down, this is a common concern with remote desktop applications, and addressing clipboard management could enhance performance.

While these suggestions are not currently addressed in the available documentation, they reflect common user needs that could be considered for future updates to remote desktop management tools.
