I have installed the Office software on my new Mac, and can only open Word and One Note. I get no license found when I try to open Exel or Power point. How can I fix this?

Are you subscribed to a Microsoft 365 subscription?

Using the Microsoft account used for the purchase, see if your license is active: https://account.microsoft.com/services/

Open Excel, click your profile picture, then hit Log out. Then restart your Mac computer.

Log back in to your account with the license and see if your subscription is now recognized.

To resolve the issue of Excel and PowerPoint showing "no licenses found" on your Mac, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check macOS Background Permissions: Go to System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions. Ensure that "Microsoft Corporation" and "Microsoft Office Licensing" are allowed to run in the background.
    2. Reinstall Office: If the permissions are correct and the issue persists, you may need to uninstall the Office applications. Open Finder > Applications, select all Microsoft Office applications, and move them to Trash. After that, reinstall Office from your Microsoft account dashboard.
    3. Activation Issues: Sometimes, the licensing service may be blocked or corrupted. You can try logging out of your Microsoft account and logging back in to refresh the license.
    4. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.

These steps should help you regain access to Excel and PowerPoint on your Mac.
