Hello Annoymus 01010101, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Location services can turn off due to Windows updates, privacy software, or ROG settings.

    Try re-enabling it first:

    • Settings > Privacy & security > Location
    • Toggle "Location services" ON
    • Toggle "Let apps access your location" ON
    • Scroll down, ensure specific apps have permission

If you have privacy tools like SpyBot AntiBeacon or O&O ShutUp10 installed, they might have disabled it. Also worth checking Armoury Crate SE (the ROG Ally's control software) for any conflicting settings.

If location keeps turning off on its own, check Windows Update history (Settings > Windows Update > Update history) to see if a recent update reset it. You can also check Task Scheduler for automated tasks that might be disabling it.

It seems that you are experiencing an issue where the location services on your ROG Alley have been turned off unexpectedly. This could be related to various factors, including software settings or conflicts with other applications. One potential cause could be the interference from third-party software like SpyBot AntiBeacon, which is known to disable Windows location services. If you have such software installed, you might want to check its settings to ensure that location services are enabled.

If this is a widespread issue, it might be beneficial to check forums or support channels related to ROG Alley or Windows 11 for any ongoing reports from other users. Additionally, ensuring that your Windows operating system is up to date can help resolve such issues as updates often include fixes for known bugs.
