I have purchased a Power Automate premium license. I cannot access it with my business site. I can only access the free version of Power Automate. The premium license is not being recognized

    Hello @Wayne Goodwin

Good day! Thank you for posting your valuable question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, I understand that you have already purchased a Power Automate Premium license, but when signing in with your business account, you can only access the free version of Power Automate, and the system does not seem to recognize your premium entitlement.

Please let me know if I misunderstood any part of your issue or if there are additional details you’d like to share.

To help us provide the most accurate and effective solution, could you share a bit more information about your setup?

    • Where did you purchase your Power Automate Premium license (Microsoft website, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, or through a partner/reseller)?
    • When you sign in to your My account and check the Subscriptions tab, is Power Automate Premium listed there?
    • Is the issue occurring in Power Automate on the web, the desktop app, or both?  If you switch between platforms, does the problem continue?
    • Which Power Platform environment are you working in?  Are you able to switch to other environments, and if so, does the same issue occur?
    • Was the license recently purchased, assigned, or reassigned? (Sometimes license propagation may take time before it becomes fully effective).
    • Do you have multiple accounts signed in on your browser or Power Automate app?  If so, please ensure you are signing in with the correct account.
    • If the issue persists, try removing all saved accounts and signing in again with only the correct one  (please back up any important data first before removing accounts).

This additional context will help us better understand your environment and what may be preventing the system from validating your premium capabilities.

I apologize if I could not jump straight to a solution. I want to avoid suggesting anything that might be inaccurate or unhelpful. Once we have the details above, we’ll be able to assist you more effectively and guide you toward the right resolution.

Looking forward to your response so we can get this sorted out for you together.

To resolve the issue of your Power Automate Premium license not being recognized on your business site, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check License Assignment: Ensure that your Power Automate Premium license is correctly assigned to your user account. You may need to contact your Microsoft 365 administrator to verify this.
    2. Sign In to the Correct Account: Make sure you are signed in with the account that has the Power Automate Premium license. Sometimes, users may inadvertently sign in with a different account that only has access to the free version.
    3. Clear Browser Cache: If you are accessing Power Automate through a web browser, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then sign in again.
    4. Use the Power Automate Desktop App: If you are trying to access premium features through the web, consider downloading the Power Automate desktop app and see if you can access the premium features there.
    5. Check for Service Issues: Occasionally, there may be service outages or issues with Microsoft services. You can check the Microsoft 365 service health dashboard to see if there are any ongoing issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
