Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Did you check your email rules to see if you have set any rule that automatically moves all of your incoming emails to the Deleted Items folder?

    • Open any browser and sign in with your Microsoft account here: https://outlook.live.com/
    • Go to Settings > Mail > Rules.
    • If you have any rule that moves all of your emails to the Deleted Items folder, delete that rule.

Also review your Sweep rules and Junk email settings.

    1. Go to Settings > Mail > Junk Email.
    2. If you see any email addresses in the Blocked senders list that you want to receive emails from, remove them from the list.
    3. Then, in the Deleted Items folder, select the emails that you want to move back to the Inbox. Once selected, right-click them and choose Move to > Inbox.
    4. You can also add the sender’s address to the Safe Senders list in Junk Email settings so that future emails from them are delivered directly to your Inbox.

If your incoming email messages in Outlook are going directly to the Deleted Items folder instead of the Inbox, it may be due to the Ignore feature being activated on a previous email in that thread. When you select Ignore on an email, Outlook deletes that email and tracks all future messages related to it, automatically moving them to the Deleted Items folder.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check if you have mistakenly ignored a message in the thread. If so, you may need to un-ignore the conversation or adjust your settings.
    2. Ensure that your Junk Email settings are not configured to permanently delete suspected junk emails, as this could also lead to emails being deleted instead of moved to the Inbox.
    3. Review your email rules in Outlook to see if any rules are redirecting emails to the Deleted Items folder.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking your Outlook settings or contacting support for further assistance.
